Innuendo? I thought I was pretty clear. Maybe a little snide, but that's the way this board is in general. Logic doesn't seem to be a particularly welcome, or effective, form of argument, but let's try it that way.

A new drug is being widely reported in the press as the first proven cure for the common cold. This drug appears to be effective against all cold viruses. It will be marketed in pill form, with a doctor's prescription (although I would expect it ultimately becomes OTC down the road when the patent runs out). I opined that this was bad news for GUMM, not only because most people would prefer a remedy that is proven effective in all cases, but also because most people prefer pills over nasal spray. Responding to some petty innuendo that I was all wet with my idea that pills are preferred, I backed up my claim with some published statistics.

Of course, all of this is a nice diversion from an examination of pleconaril, which would seem to have the potential to blow Zicam right out of the water.
