From Briefing.com: Netscape Communications (NSCP) 32 1/8 -1 3/8: issue trading lower after a Morgan Stanley analyst said that there is a very strong chance the company will miss its number for the quarter... Hmm, at the shareholders' meeting, Netscape said to be sure to listen to the analysts--and Morgan Stanley was one that they singled out. Jerry, I wasn't "panning" Netscape when I said that Communicator and SuiteSpot 3.0 upgrades wouldn't be enough to help the quarter. With new products ramped up, the September quarter is likely to show large growth (but merely a revenue spike?). And if not, I'll probably lose patience....
