thanks. i think nearly everybody on this board is already short the deadbeats at AmeriCredit. why do you think AT&T is in trouble? i looked through their financials last week (an old member of this board suggested they were a near-term liquidity trap candidate, which is what prompted me to look) and they didn't look TOO bad. plus, if they can off-load a decent amount of debt with the cable sale, that seems like it would improve the balance sheet a lot.

could you elaborate on the situations at T and HOT?
