FOCUS STOCKS AND FOCUS LIST

This is just a start, as I plan to do more work later today and update regularly. Please add your two cents, especially those that know some T/A. We need to create a list with best prospects for Reward/Risk.

CURRENT POSITIONS:
HCR - entry $21+, now $23.15 - low PE, good growth prospects holding unless breaks below $23

LSPN - Entry $1.15, now $1.29 - Congress recently passed huge increase in educational funding; they should benefit longer term. May just sock this one away for a few months and see how they execute. Modest positions as this is more speculative. It's an award-winning company but not profitable yet.

Closed out many long positions yesterday, as I suspected the SOX and market would be weak at least early today.

<FOCUS STOCKS/RE-ENTRY POINTS - possible re-entry points (subject to change depending on news or other events which may affect the stocks or its sector).

FLEX - 23/24 - getting close, now at $24.17.

SLR - $10/11 on retest of 52 week low. Strictly on valuation and reward/risk; not a great prospect until perhaps second half of '02. Sales were down 44% in Q1 YOY, but they still are a profitable company.

TQNT - $10/11 - worried it might break $52 week low at $10.25 but worth a watch. C.C. yesterday was enlightening. Their business isn't great, but turnaround in the 2nd half may make this a good R/R if we can pick it up cheap enough.

WM - was waiting to see if this would break below $30 again, but with its very low PE at 10 I may enter if BKO sector strengthens on a asector rotation out of techs.

AMGN - $55/56 - IMNX acquisition will dilute earnings near term, but at some point this is worth picking up for its long term potential.

CNXT - ?? still under review, weak because of TQNT sober report, but this stock has some major followers, including Jim Kramer.

BMET - ?? may be a great entry right here, as they soundly beat estimates and will be repurchasing a sizeable amoutn of stock.

BMC, MU, XLNX, PFE, SEBL, ATML, NBR and many others under review.

If anybody else has any buy points established on some favorite stocks, let's talk.
