Looks like the Lone Ranger is back to save us from the 150% plus rise in ASTN's stock price over the past 3 days. First with an article from 9 months ago (look again - it is dated) concerning First United Equities (now THAT's news), and then a 2 year old article critical of VWAP trading strategies (not eVWAP, as such, but the notion of using VWAP as a benchmark or trading technique) -- more up to the minute news. Man, you gotta hand it to the truth squad -- he really makes it a point to bring current events to the attention of a public with a ravenous appetite for news. The SI message board for ASTN -- with all 6 participants, 2 of whom are prolific bashers -- now THAT is truly scraping the bottom of the barrel in search of attention. I wonder if he got a call from the folks who sign his paycheck, given the timing of his return to the Board. Whatever, it's all very amusing. Hey Don - you've been at this sort of thing before. Is this typical of what happens when a penny stock reverses course? MST
