Well, Justa, it seems things are turning out exactly as "they" planned it. Wacky Wednesday, as they say.

BTW, I read on some threads that people had trouble shorting the SMH and DIA yesterday afternoon. After January 1st, we could have the mother of all short covering rallies if short interest is at a very high level. That could get us to 2160-2181 pretty quickly before reverse peristalsis takes over.
