Justa, take a gander at this chart. Notice when the cross-overs for the 14-day EMA happened in July and Sept. 2000 as well as early Feb. 2001 and late May 2001. I think this indicator is one of the best at calling local tops, and it hasn't done it yet.

It does lag a bit, but if 2065 was the local top, we'd have had a cross-over on this indicator by now.

I do not believe the raw numbers are as important as the cross-overs, as you can see by the chart.
