they also offer the ability to direct option trades, or automatically send the order to wherever the highest bid or lowest ask is, something none of my other accounts do

I was told by Dreyfus yesterday that they go to the best bid and offer that offers them the highest payment for order flow. Said the penalty if they miss is disclosure under the 11 AC 1-6 link on their web page.
