no question about it. just one small item on the balance of evidence.

Jimmy Rodgers, who started and ran The Quantum fund with Soros back in the 1970's was very short the US
market and especially tech in 2000.

He covered his short in Nov of 2000 and went somewhat long, based on the seasonality that Nov 1 to the end of
March, statistically give you almost all the gains that the stockmarket has.

Now this seasonality was not there last year. the popping of the Nasd speculative bubble was more powerful
and so it over rode the seasonal influence.

GE came to bat for the bulls today and today C gave a boost with it's spinning off of Travellers P and C.
Funny citi bought Travellers not that long ago, and they are pruning out only one segment of the company that
C bought
