HyperDynamics Launches Remote Online Processing Portal for Seismic Application; Targets Multi-Billion Dollar Worldwide Oil & Gas Exploration Market
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 19, 2001--HyperDynamics Corporation (OTCBB:HYPD), the premier Integrated Technology Service Provider (ITSP(TM)), today announced its launch of a remote online processing portal for seismic applications accessible via the worldwide Web. The Company's wholly owned subsidiary, SCS Corporations' alliance with Prime GeoScience announced their initiation of remote seismic processing on Nov. 13, 2001. Since that time the Company has completed its first portal to allow remote access to Prime GeoScience's PrimeView(TM) Application. The Web site Portal is available from anywhere in the world for demonstration and purchase at www.hypd.com/primeview
PrimeView(TM) Software equips Geologist and Geophysicist with state-of-the-art tools for exploration, processing, interpretation and full motion visualization of prospects. Now, over 50,000 international explorationist seeking new oil and gas deposits are able to access these tools in the most cost/effective manner currently available without having to invest considerable capital into high-end seismic software and workstation equipment. They can now purchase access to the tools they need from Hyperdynamics on a per diem basis and use their precious cash reserves for exploratory wells and production efforts.
PrimeView(TM) is the first of several remote seismic applications to be exclusively hosted by Hyperdynamics. The Company's integrated technology center (ITC) without any expansion can support over 1,000 concurrent PrimeView users. We estimate our average revenue per user at full capacity to be approximately $200 per day.
Mr. Kent P. Watts, president and CEO stated that, "Our current ITC capacity matches up very well with Prime GeoScience's projections to sign up 1,000 concurrent users over the first year. This would grow to an annualized revenue base of $60,000,000 for us. Although this would be exceptional, at the least we anticipate achieving a significant portion of this." |
