Waxies comments on stimulus package.
Thank God there are some people in politics who oppose this bill. The American people are being sold down the river by the powers that be in order to further their own political ambitions and wash the hands that have fed them for so long.
I say - ENOUGH!
I'm so sick of reading about how much we need this bill
to "stimulate" the economy.
Really? And, just how is giving IBM a nice check for
$1.4 BILLION in CASH going to do that?
How is giving GE, MSFT, F and 100 other Fortune 500 companies
CASH going to stimulate our economy?
ENOUGH!
Its corporate welfare under the guise of patriotism. Its one of the most dispicable things our government has done in the history of our country.
100,000s of people are unemployed. People across this country are struggling to make ends meet. The country is mourning our loss of innocence, and our loss of lives, AND the potential loss of much more than that the way world politics remains.
To sell the American people down the river with a bill that will ONLY benefit Big Business is the most insane thing we can do. Its EVERYTHING that is wrong with the government and politics in general.
Whether you are Republican, Democrat, or whatever, it shouldn't matter. READ about this package. LEARN what it is that your government is proposing to do to YOU!
Because by taking this policy and passing this bill, in the end they will/are going to create a MUCH worse economy, and a much worse karmic debt that this country will be responsible for the world over.
Its appalling that now, when our country is suffering most that the powers that be see fit to try to sneak this through because the American people have given our Government carte blanche to do what is best for THE PEOPLE!
Stabbed in the back, period. Do not be so naive as to believe what they speak, its all LIES. Make your own choices and make yourself heard. We preach taking control over our own lives. Part of being an American is being FREE. Land of the brave, home of the FREE.
We are only FREE if our government doesn't sell the economy and the masses down the river for the good of the few.
Does anyone in government really think that a Nazi company like IBM is going to do the right thing and use that money to hire new people? Are you kidding me with this nonsense?

Do not sell us down the river the same way the Japanese govt. sold their economy to hell.
Do not support the lobbies just so you can get more campaign monies next time you run for reelection. At some point this stuff will backfire in a major way. I really hope that its not too late to change our political policies before its too late.
The economy is like everything else in LIFE. It comes and it goes. Its natural for it to have high and low points. The economy will turn itself around, it always has and always will. UNLESS we artifically pump it up by presenting bogus packages under the guise of patriotism. Short term it may provide some boost, but as Japan has shown it will not likely last, and in fact, may just bankrupt the country before long.
As human beings we always want things to go well. Again, its natural to feel that way. However, life doesn't always go well. There are deaths every day. But there are also births every day. They offset each other and create balance.
Part of the makeup of our leadership is based on CHECKS & BALANCES.
Right now there is no balance. We desperately need our government
to act responsibly and not out of malice for its own peoples.
Patriotism does not mean naivity.
We're not idiots, please do not treat us as such.
