Hold that thought and consider again what was in slide 7 of Robert Gasser Jr.'s presentation that showed up yesterday:

">40% frequency increase in PIII when going from 180 nm to 130 nm technology."

I guess we can expect the same from P4 over the next year. AMD doesn't show the same promise until Hammer, and God knows when that comes out.
