Art - These are highly unusual times. A convertible issue is one thing but one for only a $100m is another. Why $100m? thats what interests me. Well it keeps the ultimate dilution down but then if you need cash then have an issue that is nice and fat. If you don't need cash then why go through the agravation of doing it all for a relatively small amount. Anyone remember what happened about three yers ago when there was secondary that went out at around $28 per share? Was there a convertible before that? Can't remember. Those that bought in the secondary at $28 per share were underwater for quite a time and then it dropeed back underwater again where it remains today. Seems such a shame as Eli almost invented CF and SD and MMC almost single handedly. Now as the film camera is clearly on its way out SNDK is loisng money. Incredible. Best, L
