Albert,

I do not think anyone with experience takes any positioning statements by lawyers on either side seriously. Patent matters are usually complex and lawyers will almost always deny liability at the outset. The matter is best resolved by getting the companies in agreement on an equitable basis for resolution and then rationally analyzing the DEC allegations against the products involved.
This is not an ethical or criminal matter but simply equitable matter.

So, I do not think this has any negative PR implications at all. On the contrary, negotiations have positive implications for both DEC and INTC.

I get the feeling that you want intc to be proved at fault?
Tell me if I wrong.

Regards,

Jim kelley
