Hello, Joey, always enjoy hearing from you...but you made at least ONE critical and a few minor errors in your post to me just now: Here's what you assert: "Hey humpty pump and dump I was reading your postings over on the FGX thread. Wow you sure knew how to play those poor saps. You sold on Monday and you kept posting after that to give the impression you still owned the stock and then you disappeared".
Oh, yes, and I haven't disappeared...I'm still lurking and have been since back in '97--I scan it regularly.
1) I made NO effort to hide the fact that I'd already bought "some stock on Friday before the close" when I spoke glowingly of my purhcase...only one problem... it wasn't FGX that I purchased as you allege.
And I have the "lack" of FGX brokerage slips and Schedule D "confessions" in this instance to prove my case and well as the ACTUAL brokerage slips, on both my stamped "unsolicited" buy side trade,, as well as the sell record--duly noted on the Schedule D of course. And those things are in my storage unit, not your imagination, of course. . 2) I made NO effort to hide the fact that I sold the "mystery to you" stock on Monday that I bot on Friday. As Claude loves to say, nothing wrong with taking profits in an "undervalued situation" <LOL>
3) You are mistaken about the reason why I stuck around FGX after I sold the other stock...I stuck around because of FGX's association with Chester Millar, a luminary that Rick Rule spoke highly of at the S.F gold show that year.
You see, Joey... I learned the 3 M's of investing in Canadian pennies from Rick Rule ...& when the FGX story heated up back in '97, I remembered those discussions at Rule's boothe and dug up Rick's handouts from his exhibitor table and re-read them, when the FGX story surfaced about Millar's luminary and legendary management prowess that Rick Rule was touting. You'll see my reference to Bob Bishop, one of Rick Rule's two side kicks in that business.
The stock I DID buy & flip is still a good story, in mothballs currently, --awaiting higher gold prices I suspect,-- but still a good story stock.
4) My dad's name is NOT "Mr. Maytag." My dad is now deceased. The gravestone and death certificate are both available for your viewing if you need to. . 5) I don't believe Maytag Corporation shares your derisive assessment of their first encounter with NAACP. They are STILL proud of that true story about Mr. Maytag's encounter with the NAACP. as I understand it.
6) If making money, legitimately, is a "personality disorder," I'm proud to be so "cursed" LOL And thank you for the compliment regarding you "finding "insight" in my postings"...trust you will benefit from whatever gleanings as you follow me around.
OH, just in case you missed this fact, I'll repeat it...: It was NOT FGX that I bought that Friday referenced in your false allegation.
You've got squat unless you're counting the egg on your bewhiskered face.
I suspect you're trying to discover where I might posted what I'm accumulating in this sector. I told you I've not publically shared that information. The IRS will learn of it in due course, however<grin> It is doing nicely but I'm still accumulating so it won't be on Schedule D this calendar year.
g'night. |
