How to look up old posts - #reply-16813279 ... that's a primer only, and works only on threads that are still active ... current management of SI has chosen to let threads not posted to in the last thirty days drop off of any findable lists, so in the case of those threads [which are the great majority] you have to know the subject number, and find them using #Subject-xxx ..... there did exist a database of all threads put together by Bob Z on his own website sibob.com [sp?] but it was a massive file and may no longer be accessible, as he has parted company with the insp people
