TeMIP from Compaq chosen by Vodafone UK Dec 19, 2001 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Digital cellular radio network operator Vodafone UK has chosen the TeMIP solution from enterprise technology and solutions provider Compaq Computer Corp. TeMIP will be utilised by Vodafone to provide network and services management for its GPRS mobile network. The integration of the solution into Vodafone's network will be carried out by Compaq. Vodafone chose TeMIP in a bid to enhance its service quality and increase network management efficiencies. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
