Viant Appoints Former COO of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Subsidiary Bruce D. (Nasdaq: VIAN), a provider of digital business solutions, announced today that Bruce D. Shoger has joined Viant as President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Shoger comes to Viant with more than 25 years of management, sales, operational and project management experience, most recently as Chief Operating Officer of Ernst & Young Applications Services LLC. The Company also announced today that Bob Gett, Chief Executive Officer of Viant, will also become its Chairman of the Board.

Shoger, who will report to Gett, will be responsible for all operating activities of the Company, including managing the P&L and will play a lead role in the development and enhancement of the firm's reputation and visibility. Prior to joining Viant, Mr. Shoger spent five years at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young US LLC where he was responsible for leading the sales effort and creating the subsidiary Ernst & Young Applications Services LLC along with various partner/pursuit leader roles. Before that, he spent five years at Honeywell International, Inc. as the CIO of the Home/Building Control Division, where he successfully led the post-consolidation merger of four former stand-alone IT units to align and serve the needs of the newly-created and largest operating division of Honeywell, Inc. Mr. Shoger was also a Partner and Practice Leader at Ernst &Young LLP in Consumer Products Manufacturing; a Partner at Arthur Young & Company; and a Director of Information Systems at National Steel Corp. |
