>>what do you think about JNPR announcement today ?

The long-term upside appears substantial but who knows given current visibility. There is some dead-money risk. My thesis has been to stay away from anything telecom related... other than trade the component companies due to an inventory re-fill. I want to buy back into component companies lower. I am a little surprised at the extent of JNPR's loss of market share to CSCO. My thought on JNPR is, stay tuned. There isn't much reason to believe that the end of the telecom 'nuclear winter' is anytime soon... JNPR's quarterly revs are now 50-55% off the high... I would think they can grow off of this new base but there is no visibility on that growth. I think $15 to $30 is the right valuation range on JNPR for now... I would buy it if it drops to the mid-teens...
