Canadian Royalties' private placement offering oversubscribed
Canadian Royalties' proposed private placement financing of up to $700,000, as previously reported in Stockwatch Dec. 13, 2001, is oversubscribed and will therefore be increased to $800,000. Accordingly, Haywood Securities Inc., as agent, anticipates that it will offer up to 1,142,857 flow-through common shares at a price per share of 70 cents, for gross proceeds of $800,000. Haywood will be paid a commission of 7.5 per cent of the gross proceeds from the offering, and the offering shall be subject to regulatory approval.
The corporation anticipates that the proceeds from the offering shall be used to test platinum group metal-nickel-copper potential, and advance exploration activities on the Expo-Ungava property and the Phoenix prospect, each of which are located in Nunavik (Ungava), Que., 15 kilometres south of the Raglan mine operated by Falconbridge Ltd., or for general exploration activities subject to flow-through financing expenditure requirements at the company's other Canadian projects. |
