Dear User,
Quarterdeck is the author of a complete line of business application software programs including
Cleansweepr, MagnaRAMT, and QEMMr. During the preceding months we have established
and conducted rigorous Quality Testing procedures for our programs in order to determine the
accuracy of processing time-sensitive data for the millennium change into the year 2000. We have
determined that the currently supported versions of Quarterdeck software listed below are Year
2000 compliant.
Our testing for Year 2000 compliance is defined to mean:
All dates received by the program require a century indicator and all dates produced by the
program include a century indicator and processing logic is sound,
Date calculations involving either a single century or multiple centuries neither cause an
abnormal ending nor generate incorrect results,
When sorting by date, all records sort in accurate sequence,
Leap years will be determined by the year being divisible by 4 except for years ending in 00
which are not divisible by 400,
Hard-coding in century fields and date fields has been removed,
Applications interface with date data that is imported or exported,
No date fields used for other than date purposes.

compliance. In our ongoing and future development, we have legitimate plans to adhere to the above standards in
our applications.
Other Quarterdeck products will be evaluated for Year 2000 compliance over the next few months. The list above
will be updated regularly as we verify more products that meet Year 2000 compliance. We plan to have completed
Year 2000 compliance testing by December 1997.
