I don't want to profess to know what the right tax action to take is. I don't believe, however, that supply-side economics works, ie the trickledowneffect.

I know with the previous tax cut, that the person making $35,000 per year got a ham sandwich, whereas the guy in $200,000 tax bracket got a new lexus.

I agree that government debt is cheaper and better than private consumer debt.

But taxes throw me for a loop, so I'm never sure what's best or not.
