This is CLASSIC brokerage shams: "10:50 ET Juniper Ntwks (JNPR) 19.60 -3.33 (-14.5%): --Update-- Merrill Lynch trimming estimates following earnings warning; reduces FY01 to $0.49 from $0.54 and FY02 to $0.30 from $0.44. Firm thinks this preannouncement is company specific and an indication of the service provider market; cautions investors not to draw industry wide conclusions" What they are really saying is: "we've got a crap load of these telecom equip, network, and chip stocks that we are unloading ASAP, so let us sell this shit first so we can screw you the public with some more BS" BOHICA method..LOL
