Jim and aero: CPN has ben buying back the April 02 putable bonds for a substantial discount (~ 25%) on the open market and in private purchases. They have said that they will continue to do so. <<Desperate?>> I agree. if ENE's house of cards hadn't collapsed, we wouldn't be seeing all this volatility in the IPP's. That's what makes them fun and hopefully profitable. Almost all of my remaining drillers will probably sell Friday when calls are exercised. The IPP's will then be my main ballpark. Good luck to you and all. Winkman ps: MIR looks playable to me today. They have in just a few hours executed most of a plan to return to investment grade at moody Moody's.
