woollyone...some folks keep tooting that liberty horn that General Ashcroft is playing so well. General public goes along with him -- no problem on that front. Totally agree, re: dems get their heads handed to them on a platter in 2002. This war thing isn't going away before then and neither will public sentiment. BTW the AG comes from my state. Happen to think he's doing a good (not great) job. Wouldn't vote for him if he were the last pol candidate around, though.
