Homebuilders have had low PEs for several years (just like the airlines - or at least they used to be in single digits). However, in the weak market the home builders not only had a compelling PE shouting out, but they refused to show growth slow down. It may happen yet, but in a weak market they and medical sector stocks have been used defensively.
