Canadian Krispy Kreme Store Breaks Opening Week Sales Record WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Dec. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. (NYSE: KKD - news) announced today that in addition to breaking the first day sales record, the Krispy Kreme store located outside of Toronto in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, has set a new opening week sales record. First week sales for the Mississauga location were $465,003 Cdn. The previous record, $454,125, was held by the store in Issaquah, Washington, just outside of Seattle. Although the Mississauga sales figure is in Canadian dollars, it is based on comparable US pricing. The number of dozens sold at the Mississauga location was nearly four percent higher and the number of customer transactions was over 10 percent higher than in Issaquah.
