Diana, OT *** befriending wild raccoons I agree that would be a mistake. This neighbor won't befriend the raccoons anyway and there are hardly any furry bears here in Silicon Valley. :) Lots of bears in Yosemite Park, though, and I've seen the traps the rangers use: verrry sturdy. Gottfried
