Hi Peter,
Yes I have now realised a loss in the PWI I sold. I am taking a gamble that it will drop enough to allow me to average down to make me more comfortable with the payout rate. I was tempted by the higher dividend rate to overweight in it compared to AVN. It is not the share price drop as much but the dividend reduction that vexes me. With the hedging they have in place I really didn't expect this steep of a drop so fast. The other point is one of comfort level. I will be following this closely to see if I have done the right action and I will be wiser next time. The whole delivery of information from PWI is a little unsettling. They put together a webcast and slideshow to discuss the banal restructuring and shortly afterwards drop the dividend cut bombshell in a brief news release. The bottom line here Peter is that I should have done better research. That will come because you see I really think you are on to something here at least for a portion of my portfolio.

regards
Kastel
