The last I heard, GIFS had been selling their 60% or so stake of IMXS on the open market (starting last fall when they first exchanged GIFS stock for IMXS), through a brokerage in Toronto or some such. Right now, I don't thinkanyone really knows who owns the majority IMXS stock. The only hope I see is if one or more of the original owners (pre-GIFS) still has a majority ownership and has some interest in reviving the company. It was never clear from info posted on the IMXS and/or GIFS threads whether the company has any real assets, whether the debts were paid off, etc. My guess is that the company is nothing but a shell at this point, that the stock is dispersed amongst a lot of small time holders like myself (and presumably you), and that we are, as you say, totally hosed.
