As well, a look through lawbooks indicates that far more law is designed to
protect property than people... this generally is true in any capitalist
society.

I'd also suggest that where governments are concerned, life is cheap, but property is not.


Long term if your right to own property is not protected, you won't have liberty and you'll have lots of casualties as folk steal and others protect themselves from theft. eg Afghanistan the last twenty years.

Totalitarianism is a very thin disguise for theft, enslavement or expulsion.

All are forms of robbery, aren't they?
