(he is a long-time former IBM'er, and could probably describe it better) --- But, I beleive it was 92'-93" <?>. I know in 92' Akers was still CEO here. Yes on FSU and Lotus Deal. But, I don't know about "KK&R bought a major interest in IBM near lows in early 1993 and installed Mr. Gerstner"?? You may be correct, as I wasn't following the company at that level then. Actually, I don't follow it to the level I follow Novell now (laugh!). He came from RJR Nabisco, and before that American Express. I hope Ben can chime in (or some other IBM'er) here. I know there are a couple that lurk. But, you're right! NOVL "needs a KICK" Regards..J
