I hope my question is not too absurd. I bought 100 shares of ATHM in 1999 at $119.50 per share. Later on, it split into 200 shares. So I own 200 shares at the cost of $59.75 per share. I am thinking of selling it as a tax loss this year. Is ATHM still trading or it is worthless ? Will it ever come back or as the bondholders are worrying about getting their money back that means the stock is actually worth nothing. Can anyone just give me a little insight before I place the order to sell. Is the commission very high due to it is priced under $1 ? Thanks in advance.
