Zeev i just watched a live interview via Bloomberg's London with a man i consider a brilliant trader/investor/economist,one Marc Faber of Marc Faber Ltd.,and he was in his Singapore place of business at the time of the interview.
He politely dismantled Greenspan and stated the seeds for disaster were planted by Greenspan as early as 1995.
He blames the insane bubble on Greenspan,he said the bail-out of LTC was a major mistake,he went on with charge after charge.
and he presented argument upon argument giving the whys he sees great danger in our market place, and we are flirting with outright disaster due to Greenspan's obsession with thinking he can manipulate the market place.
he sees our market's future to be akin to the last decade in Japan with even a possibility of some of what you are seeing in Argentina coming to america.
he threw forth much data regards government manipulation in the U.S. that led to the bubble that burst in 1929.
he fundamentally states that our FED has laid a foundation for disaster.
And i stress,he was using the word disaster---
he states the rally we have witnessed in the U.S. to be an obvious bear market rally.
To those who would scoff this are not scoffing me but Marc Faber( but i admit i get excited when a man of his expertise is on my piffling wavelength:).
i wish i could get the text but it is unavailable.Max
