I heard that too but judging from the MEMRI translation, it's not quite what he said. Arafat said he valued one martyr in Jerusalem as equal to seventy martyrs elsewhere...so much for abjuring terrorism, eh?

Imposing a settlement with Arafat and Hamas in place is like trying to impose a settlement on Afghanistan with Mullah Omar and Osama bin Laden in place...do you see the problem with that concept?
