I agree wholeheardetly. Naturally because I subscribe to some financial magazines, I am getting cold calls occaisionally and letters from small firms I never heard of across the country. The first rule should be to never purchase a stock or commodity "hawked" over the phone. My experience with this particular broker was he was very pushy and wouldnt take no for an answer. He also had all the standard verbage for any objection I could come up with as to why not purchase the stock over the phone. After ten minutes of my time with this chump, I hung up. He did call right back and ask why I hung up on him. I told him then hung up again. But, I had heard of PLC previously and was intrigued why he was vehemently pushing the stock. Did my own DD and liked what I saw since I do invest some in biotech. jOel
