Just to get things is a different view: your friend did not make a 125% profit unless he/she bought back in at the original price. If that price was 10 vs. the 18 7/8 buying back in, the profit on an equal number of shares would be 88.8%. Still something to be happy about!

Back to the words of old Mr. Partridge when he was told to sell and buy back in later, "........if I sold now I'd lose my position, and then where would I be?" "It's a bull market, you know."

Wish I had such seasoned discipline.

I've come on board only recently but I extend much appreciation for all of your input on this thread.
