<<What do you mean by opposing positions? Do you mean entry on a reversal signal and exit on an opposing preliminary signal>>

Instead of waiting for a stock I held a position in to provide a reversal, I thought I might tighten up, like switch to trailing lows, or swings, when a major index gave a preliminary signal that was opposite to the trend of the stock.
