Anybody using the defraud-o-meter to tally Amazon revenues should remember that, in contrast to last year, it now includes (1) used items (2) partnership items (3) books which were discounted 10-20% from last year's prices.

This is the reason why a 20% increase in item sales is being translated by analysts to anywhere between 4-15% increase in revenues depending on who you talk to.

Pro-fudged profits are pretty much a given. Actual bottom line performance will not be so good.
