go with the leaders, the survivors, the strong, that fill a need, that have a demand for their product or service, that have strong balance sheets, that have a good niche, that have good tech, R&D, patents. earnings are temporarily down. competitors are being decimated. 1999 and early 2000 took away from revenues of 2001. people, corporations, governments will want the best, latest technology. U.S. has demonstrated in Afghanistan that there is something to be said for the best, latest technology. There will be upgrades for tech in medical, computer, internet, military. investors will do better than traders. even astute traders like salomon and enron and ltcm eventually get their comeuppance.
