This post is just a reminder of what can happen in a short period of time. Jan 1 of this year was on a Monday. Jan 2 was a so-so date in the market - the indexes were down for the day. Then on Wednesday, 3 Jan, the "market" took off. The table below shows the 1 day performance of the group, SOX and NASDAQ. A very good day to be fully invested. It is probably a good idea to be alert for a similar performance this year.
