DFXI is a strange stock, perhaps because of the involvement of the shorts, i really have no idea, but i find that the best way to play it is to buy when it gets at least short term oversold and then bases for a while, you can then trade it back and forth for a point or two while it bases and then buy it as it comes out of the base for a decent move usually within a week

one thing that bothers me about DFXI is the short interest and it has increased again lately....i hardly see any negative posts on things like yahoo that discuss the stock and yet obviously someone is betting big against the company, i suppose figuring that the bowflex is a fad and will lose favor as something else comes out which people will buy instead

the insiders have sold a little here and there but seem to mostly be holders of their stock and institutions don't seem to be selling either, and the company recently announced it would buy back some of its own stock so other than slowing growth, i don't see where the shorts find a reason for their position

anyone else have any ideas on this?
