It's Marin COunty not Marian County and NO I don't live in that county.

Walker will be given his rights and will be tried for the charges he is accused. I will wait until I hear all the facts before I render an opinion. No one knows all the facts at this point.

I do not support a national test for every grade for every year because it INCREASES government roles in education and also is throwing ALOT more money at something. IT will also create a huge bureaucracy that will be needed to write, administer and correct the tests. IT will also be bad because it will force an agenda into educational content. It will also make teachers teach to the test and not try to make kids think for themselves.

In Texas, since teachers and schools got their raises according to test results, the schools took the low scorers and placed them into special ed so they wouldn't be counted with the rest of the scores............those kids are lost forever after being branded "special ed".

Bush's education package is bigger and more intrusive governmental interference into education. IT allows the government to dictate test criteria. You may approve if the Republicans are dictating it, but that won't be the case forever and you won't like it.
