Nope there isn't. Middle of NOWHERE. Hour and a half plus from the Big Towns. Roads up a mountain do not a trail make. Hey we got a flat tire there at a sign on the other side of the mountain. Black Rock, I made every one stop so they could take a pix with me pointing to that sign. I have it somewhere. As we climbes back to car, a hissing sound was made like our double diget IMPCFs, it was a flat we had gotten earlier if we had not stopped to take that pix, we coulda had a problem as the roads up were terrible and the only place to change a tire LEVEL and wide without a sheer 100 ft cliff drop was you guessed it at the Black Roack Mountain Sign.
Strange but true. BTW, are you pissed at guys who talk down your historic ( al ) discoveries and look for the BAD rathewr than the good. Take that wise ass 6 OZ of material, man o live that was some date 70 years ago once you read the history files...questions come to mine such as the San Fran Refiner did he lie to gain? Or was a decimal , no comments, put in the wrong place in 1920-30 something?. That was just a HISTORIC RESEARCH program done by and quoted by rather Paul Lechler of NV Bureau of Mines and Mins'ology whatever. A start ...to see what showed 5then, this is now. Do good miners have to start thinking outside the box of standard knowledge? I think so ...reallly, I still do. I hold these...lands and truths to be self Evident. Self Fullilling, maybe some day. Dirt? Yeah. Want to talk about relationship of small complex ore to what might be molecular nanotech mining recontstructions of the small to make a large some day MINE via avat and closed circuit and maybe even INSITU Large BULK? Nah, I don't want to talk about that here.

""..//.. The layered igneous rocks have not been carefully sampled and analyzed to date for discrete ortho-magmatic "reef" type mineralization and their PGE potential remains unknown.

Because of recent and historical discoveries of PGE-bearing hydrothermal deposits in Nevada and adjacent environs and because of the large number of hydrothermal deposits in Nevada, it is reasonable to expect additional discoveries to be made within the Great Basin. PGE assays are expensive and difficult to perform. Individuals involved in PGE exploration are advised to employ only well-known commercial laboratories having established reputations for providing reliable PGE assays when seeking analyses of exploration samples. There are several commercial laboratories in the Reno area. Results of ongoing NBMG investigations of the PGE potential of various areas in Nevada will be released regularly in NBMG open-file reports and elsewhere.
