Yes, good inference, maybe that's why Alliance went up today. Perhaps they think that ALSC would announce a profit this Q. In which case, they would have gone a long way of 'proving' that they are for real in DRAM and the stock should react accordingly and go into double digits. Also, do check the Cyrix thread regarding low cost Compaq with faster 180mHz MediaGX combo CPUsat $1000 complete (w/moniter). Also there was a post on how the Korean market expect this yr AMD/Cyrix would take up to 50% of the market, and the low cost PC would make a difference there. Cyrix seems to be doing a really good job in driving the MediaGX technology. The MediaGX with MMX and 3D graphics should be out within 3 months. The $500 PC for the third world should also appear in 3 months, right according to schedule. Also, SGS Thompson's announcement of combo CPU appear to be very well received, and I suspect actual system should appear in time for X'mas. Well, everything is set.
