Well, you've just blown up (if you pardon the pun), a major myth in my minimal explosives training. The 12B who was giving us our demo training was quite specific about the danger of combining high temps and sharp pressure (from stomping on it)..

But I'm not about to argue with someone possessing your undeniable experience on the subject.... :0)

Btw, I have to admit a certain degree of EXTREME jealousy...

Unfortunately, my experience was limited to setting up ring-mains on some demil shots on ordnance they were demilitarizing at Navajo Army Depo. And then some improvised training between the local farmers blowing up stumps and knocking down trees, and that 12B...

But you can NEVER get enough of turning objects into "vapor on the wind"..... :0) Those are still some of the most memorable moments of my military career.

Thanks for setting me straight on that C-4 myth.
