He (Daschle) didn't say he fixed the problem. He said federal inspection was better than private inspection. He was right about that but they have not appropriated enough money to really fix the problems. They don't have the money because of the tax cuts. Promises made and Promises broken - The promise of surpluses even with tax cuts; The promise of a prescription drug benefit. I know about your excuses. You think 9/11 excuses everything but it doesn't.
