Thanks. I can't comment on Barrons' views re Amgen or Pfizer, but their understanding of Immnx is characteristically shallow. I think that's been a major problem for Immunex this year -- the street's reluctance to look past the obvious. But that's the way it always is, no? Mr. Market giveth, and Mr. Market taketh away.

On another issue, I happened to see a piece regarding Enbrel on the national news over the weekend. (Network TV, I forget which one.) The piece was about how doctors are using Enbrel to suppress the immune systems of cancer patients. Some cancer patients' immune systems are boosted to a dangerous degree -- was unclear to me if this was due to the cancer or as a result of chemotherapy or radiation treatment. But the thrust of the piece was that Enbrel was being used to suppress the immune system down to more moderate levels. I'd never heard of this off-label use of Enbrel before, but it was being pitched as a "dramatic new opportunity" for cancer patients.

Does anyone on the thread know anything about this? Thx.
