What's the explosive that's similar to C4 and smells like candy? Semtex? almost forgot to answer that one... i have no idea what explosive smells like candy but it isn't semtex. semtex is a form of powerful plastic explosive made in czechoslovakia...but it has no odor. it has become a favorite of terrorists because lax controls in eastern europe make it easy to obtain and it is difficult to detect. most of the IRA bombs are semtex based. the panam 747 that blew up over lockerbie was brought down by about one pound of semtex.
