Monica: Nothing wrong with 30 million units, an AMD record...How many units was INTC going to ship and how does that stack up with their record year??? Given that the Japanese GM is making the statement, I'd guess that it is reasonable to assume that the 40% pertains to Japanese units...but much more importantly, AMD in the worst downturn in at least 20 years is shipping 30 million units worldwide, an AMD record and wull record record PC processor revenues in q4...Not too shabby...
